Gritti Palace dates back
to 1525, when it was commissioned by the Doge of Venice: Andrea Gritti.
Construction
began that same year. Archival records show that frescoes attributed to
the Veronese style that originally adorned the The 82 guest rooms and 9 suites offer luxurious comfort in an atmosphere created by precious decorations and beautiful antique furnishings. Somehow less famous than the Danieli, the Gritti Palace remains its unique actual counterpart... without any conflict, as both hotels are managed by the same group! Venice is famous not only for its fine art, scenic vistas, and a charming way of life, but also for its cuisine. The quite formal Club del Doge restaurant and the casual though ritzy Bar Longhi offer guests culinary delights and enchanting views of the canal and city. and air-conditioning): this is now one of the most charming and top
comfortable
four star hotels in Venice. The most important architectural Literally located a stone's throw from La Fenice, the hotel could not be more centrally located. You can stroll to San Marco Square, the Rialto Bridge, or the Accademia, in 10 minutes or less. The top floor accommodations offer sweeping views of the city's rooftops and major monuments.
